What to expect.

No needles and no incisions. SmoothEye works with your own collagen, so the change in firmness and texture develops over the weeks after each session.

Treatment areas: Crow's feet, under-eyes and the upper eye area
Skin surface: Not removed; heat is delivered beneath the surface
Session length: About 20–30 minutes, including preparation
Treatment plan: Typically 3–5 sessions, 2–3 weeks apart
Recovery: Mild redness can occur; normal activity generally resumes

How it works

Controlled heat, beneath the surface.

SmoothEye is a non-ablative protocol. The energy is delivered beneath the skin surface, which is why it suits the thin skin around the eyes.

SMOOTH mode

Non-ablative Er:YAG energy delivers controlled thermal heat to the deeper layers of the skin around the eyes. The surface is not removed.

Collagen remodelling

The heat triggers collagen remodelling, which continues in the weeks after the appointment and builds across a course.

Across the eye area

Passes are made across the agreed areas: crow's feet, under the eyes and the upper eye area. The eyes are protected throughout.

Who it suits

Fine lines, crepey texture and mild laxity.

SmoothEye is designed for crow's feet and fine lines around the eyes, crepey texture beneath the eyes, and mild laxity or early hooding. Where excess skin is the main concern, eyelid surgery is the relevant option. Your medical history is reviewed at consultation.

Not suitable

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active skin infections or cold sores near the eye area, while taking photosensitising medicines, or after recent eye surgery.

Results

Change develops over 4–6 weeks after a session as new collagen forms, and builds across the course. The full effect is assessed 2–3 months after the final session.
