- •Do not touch or massage injection sites
- •Avoid applying makeup during this period
2First 24 Hours
- •Avoid strenuous exercise and workouts
- •Avoid alcohol consumption
- •Do not apply makeup or makeup products
3First 72 Hours
- •Avoid cosmeceutical products (AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, Retinol)
- •Avoid swimming and water immersion
- •Avoid extreme heat (saunas) or cold (ice baths)
4First Week
- •Avoid direct sun exposure - wear protective clothing
- •Avoid any exfoliation or chemical peels
- •Avoid professional laser or energy-based treatments
- •Avoid blood-thinning medications (Ibuprofen, Aspirin)
Important Notes:
- ✓Always apply sunscreen with minimum SPF 30 whenever going outdoors
- ✓Normal side effects include mild swelling, tenderness, redness, small pin prick marks, and some bruising
- ✓You may initially see or feel small product deposits - they will settle within a few hours. Do not massage.
- ✓Cold compress can help with swelling - apply for maximum 10 minutes at a time, every few hours if needed
